Representaion of Disability, Casualty

Character 1 (Wheelchair)

Unattractive- In the beginning of the clip we are introduced to Character 1 and his brother as they are shopping and the older, abled bodied brother was confidently flirting with a girl on the till. This suggests that he is able to talk to women and be seen as attractive where as Character 1 in the wheel chair isn't.

Victim- He is displayed as a victim in many scenes such as when he occasionally brings up the fact that he is terminally ill and is losing the battle. This point is helped to be made by when there is an over shoulder shot of the older brother looking into the mirror, we can see in the foreground the brother and in the back ground Character 1 appears to be small- this exaggerates his venerableness and to make us sympathies with him.

Bitter- We see how in the shop that he appears for a moment to be quite bitter, angry and a bit spiteful and complacent with his illness.

Hero- Despite of his condition however when time comes to it he steps up to the challenge and takes control of the situation, by calling the ambulance by himself, asking the crowd to step back and requesting for some blankets or a coat for Character 2

Finale Decision For Production

After many weeks of planning we have decided on all of our planning.
For location we have now in fact agreed on he Wirral Way, West Kirby for an all round easy to reach to place, fairly common, popular and recognisable with not to many people about to interfere with filming.

Costumes, the two officers in the film will wear sophisticated suits (which they will provide themselves), the antagonist will wear a hoody and track suits.
Props will consist of guns.

The genre of the film will be an action, thriller- a very popular genre and is complimentary to an exciting, explosive opening.
